We are currently looking for a number of baristas to work 2/3 days (15-22.5 hrs pw) or on a flexible cover basis. You will be working at co-working sites across London.

This is a self-employed/freelance role.

VCW Barista - Role Responsibilities:

• Manage the barista station, engaging with members and their guests and providing well-crafted and beautifully presented coffee in a timely fashion.

• Following recipes and guidelines for coffee preparation.

• Friendly & approachable manner.

• Ensuring site is always clean, clear and tidy and has sufficient stock levels.

• Raise low stock issues to your Area Coordinator / Barista Manager.

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of our coffee and speak about this to members.

• Act as an ambassador for Volcano Coffee Works.

• Be aware of and follow all operational and Health and Safety policies and procedures for your site.

• Be punctual and well-presented.

• Provide and/or manage the any preventative maintenance on equipment required, in conjunction with the Area Coordinator /Barista Manager.

• Positively always represent and promote Volcano Coffee Works best interests.

Essential Requirements:

• 2+ Years barista experience in speciality coffee.

• Flexible approach.

• Trustworthiness – you will be working alone so you need to be able to work on your own initiative.

• Excellent communication skills.
